disillusionment

we all become jaded and disillusioned at some pt in time... and tt's no exception for church stuff..

aft serving for so many yrs, i have to admit tt there were times when i was on the brink of giving up, feeling tt there was no pt in moving ahead or tt there was just no motivation to carry on wat i was doing.. and there were even times when i just totally gave up, refusing to budge and bother abt anyth anymore..

but then such times, thankfully, were always accompanied by instances which wld make me realise why it was worthwhile continue doing wat i was doing - be it seeing my solomon knights, be it talking to fellow bros/sis in christ who are equally passionate abt serving, be it a renewal of passion and motivation to do sth for the church which was sth i had the burden for.. or sometimes, simply hearing from god tt indeed tt's wat i have to do..

come on, everyone would have felt like giving up at some pt in time, and you and i are no exceptions.. but boy am i glad tt He always gave me reason to not refuse to let him work thru me, letting him use me once again..

May the Lord Himself take away the feelings of jaded-ness and disillusionment. May the Lord see the hearts of His servants and bless His people. May the Lord Himself judge for Himself each and everyone of us - slothful or hardworking servants. May the Lord help me. May the Lord renew His servants in Glory Presbyterian Church and may the Lord Himself personally work His ways in the Youth Ministry, granting wisdom to His children. :) In Jesus' name, Amen.
