death..

today had CNY thanksgiving svc in the morn and my dad was in charge of offering prayer.. and he suddenly brought up elder soo's death which initially i thot was unnecessary since it was a thanksgiving prayer.. but sidestepping tt pt, somehow it just dawned on me tt if one day a close friend passed on, would i be able to stand in front of everyone and lead them in prayer steadily? if i had to pray for someone who has always been around me yet is no longer alive, would i be strong and calm enough to pray?

perhaps death may not be the most appropriate topic to tok abt during this festive season but the truth is that everyday thr's someone being borne into this world and someone who leaves this world, and CNY is no exception - just tt now 2008 is a yr whr someone familiar has passed on during the CNY period..

a span of 2 yrs, 2 teachers have left us just like tt.. is death really such a faraway thing?
