hell of a week

haven felt this way for a long time.. simply lost the drive and motivation to do anyth - it iznt just sian coz it's another week.. it's just tt i've been feeling really heavy hearted the whole wk tt i couldnt bother to do anyth.. didnt feel like doing the road construction, simply cldnt bother nor focus on my task at hand.. perhaps it's coz of wat happened last wkend, or maybe my realisation of stuff on sunday.. but no matter the cause, haven felt this lousy before..

thankfully kokhou and pc was understanding enough to just bear with my bad state and attempted at cheering me up..

still, this wk wasnt without its perks - had a nice thoughtful gesture by someone which totally made my day and had a lot of interesting stuff to ponder abt, you know those pensive lines which just pop into my head or come out from my mouth or picked up from others yeah..

warrant raj was toking abt marriage yesterday nite and we were sorta discussing wat marriage is, or simply wat's a nice partner/soulmate to have.. there's a saying eyes are the window to one's soul, and he said you gain an insight into your own soul by looking at your soulmate, tt's why.. and he said some stuff which i pretty much agreed abt how a lifelong partner is.. it's someone who would simply smile sincerely back at you when you just out of nowhere look at him/her and smile; it's someone who, when you just put your hand on the table, would come over and put his/her hand over yours and smile at you; it's someone who, after your long and tiring day, would notice your exhaustion yet consciously not ask you abt it but rather, make a cup of coffee for you and maybe massage your shoulders, toking to you abt other stuff in a bid to take your mind off your day..

of coz some cynics, or perhaps more so-called realistic ppl would call this an ideal or a dream, but, it's possible izn't it? it's tt kind of small gestures, tt simple thotful act which makes a whole lot of difference in your world..

pc commented tt experience is just a substitute word for mistakes.. sounds pretty lame at first but true to some extent iznt it? whenever you say you are experienced in this certain things, or perhaps you have so-called gone thru more [and hence some-wat 'experienced'], it's usually accompanied with that whole lot of crap mistakes you made iznt it? well, at least it's quite true for me..

and weiqi was toking to me abt wkends and bking out.. as to how i spend my bkouts.. for me, bkout is the time to do sth you like/enjoy before gg back to army and then doing wat you need to do from mon to fri, then out again for the wkends to relax before facing yet another wk.. and naturally, diff ppl would then spend their bkouts differently - some enjoy 'chionging', gg pubs/clubs/parties, some like nothing more than a slpover, some go for a run or a swim, and of coz thr are also those who spend time on the piano, spend time drawing or reading books, and definitely thr will be some, perhaps out out of exhaustion or laziness, just simply slack and laze around at home.. watever the case, as long as it's a time whr you take your mind off stuff for some time and just do sth different from mon to fri, i guess it would be sth worthwhile iznt it?

as for me, sat and sun are spent no better than spending time with my loved ones - family and frens.. and for my all-time favourite, spending time with church fren, in church, or doing church stuff at home or discussing church stuff with ppl..

as i said in the previous post, we all have diff lives to lead and diff roles to play..

like what shakespeare has said 'All the world's a stage,/ And all the men and women merely players;/ They have their exits and their entrances;/ And one man in his time plays many parts'

well guess i'll just leave off at this quote here - not trying to sound artistic or learned or watsoever, but i really love these 4 lines, somehow..

and now, off to do wat i like - discussing stuff! haha ok hope it'll be productive..
